Frequently Asked Questions

bespoke process, spray finishes, areas served, pricing, timelines.

1. How “bespoke” is bespoke? Do you work from inspiration photos?

Yes, completely. Every project is designed from scratch around your space, not standard modules or off‑the‑shelf systems. You can share reference photos and we’ll translate them into a tailored, high‑proportion design that fits the room precisely, from trims to handle details.

2. Do you offer spray finishes and wood veneers?

Yes. We specialise in furniture‑grade spray finishes using moisture‑resistant MDF for durability, and we offer access to 150 natural wood veneers, from classic oaks to exotic species. This is one of the key differentiators of our work.

3. What areas do you cover?

Our core service areas include Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire (Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Amersham, Thame, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Buckingham and surrounding towns).
We also take on
select projects in Central and West London when the budget and logistics align. Measure and manufacture happen locally; installation is done on site.

4. How do you price projects?

We use transparent pricing per linear or square metre, supported by architect‑grade drawings and clear material specifications. This ensures you know exactly where the value is and why bespoke differs from mass‑market alternatives.

5. What kind of materials do you use?

We use only high‑grade materials suited for long‑term performance:

- Moisture‑resistant MDF (ideal for spray finishing)

- High‑grade plywood where appropriate

- Extensive natural veneer options (~150 species)
We do
not use chipboard commonly found in mass‑market furniture.

6. What makes your kitchens and media walls different from big-brand/high-street options?

Every element is custom-built - no modular carcasses, no off‑the‑shelf systems.
Your project gets:

- Tailored proportions and custom trims

- Hidden pulls and bespoke handle work

- A flawless spray finish

- High‑end materials

- Meticulous, clean installation
This consistently leads to “wow‑effect” feedback from clients.

7. How long does a project take?

Timelines vary by size, materials, finishing requirements and site conditions.
Most of the work (around
90%) happens in our workshop, allowing efficient, tidy installation on site. We confirm estimated timelines during your consultation.

8. Do you work with architects and design studios?

Yes, we regularly collaborate with architects and design practices who require a reliable, detail‑oriented workshop partner for premium builds.
We support with:

- Technical drawings

- Veneer + finish options

- Project planning and timelines

- Clean, respectful on-site delivery
Architects often appreciate our predictability and craftsmanship.

9. Can you handle projects outside your core service area?

Yes selectively. Because 90% of fabrication happens in our workshop, we can take on certain projects farther afield (including places like Bath or Manchester) as long as the scope and budget align.

Site visits are required for measuring and installation, so logistics are discussed upfront.

10. What is the fitting process like? Are you tidy?

Our fitting team is consistently praised for being clean, quiet and respectful in clients’ homes.
We aim to keep disruption minimal, with most of the heavy work already completed in the workshop before arrival.
